MyZone offers a versatile and fun way to stay motivated and hit your fitness goals!
How does MyZone work? Categorizing your heart-rate into five color-coded zones, MyZone allows you to monitor how hard you're working and earn MyZone Effort Points (MEPs) as you go. Each zone awards you points, starting from grey and working up to red. The harder you work, the more MEPs you will earn!
What are MyZone status levels? Starting at Iron, and progressing every month through Bronze, Silver, and Gold, you can eventually reach the "Hall of Fame" by building up a certain number of MEPs. However, if you break the chain and miss a month your status level will decrease, so consistency is key!
How do we use MyZone? When you arrive at the gym wearing your belt, any MEPs you earn in your session are displayed on the screen in real-time. This is a fantastic motivator, especially if you have set a target for the session. Daily and monthly challenges are also created for individual motivation and a bit of fun competition between groups of MyZone users.
How Can MyZone help me? MyZone is a fun way to see how hard you are working, however the objective is to work in the zone that will deliver the best results based on your training program and overall goals. For example, the goal is to stay in the higher zones where you're burning the most calories if you're focused on weight loss or you can use the colored zones to raise and lower your heart rate into the appropriate zones in an interval style if your goal is to improve your conditioning.
