In this two-hour session, you'll learn a core set of effective and efficient self-defense tactics that will prepare you for any situation. Originally adapted as the fighting system of the Israeli Defense Forces, Krav Maga is an easy to learn self-defense system that prepares everyday people to protect themselves against real-world threats. 6:00pm-7:30pm Join Michelle, Emma, and Renah for the soft opening of Jab & Flow's yoga space! Our inaugural class will give you a taste of all that yoga can be, as well as the different styles of yoga that will be offered in our new studio. Michelle will teach an energetic, movement-driven power portion of the class, Emma will lead a slower, more mindful and mobility-focused flow, and Renah will close us out with deep stretches, gentle movement, guided meditation, and rest. 6:00pm-8:00pm Join Renah for an evening of self-care and self-discovery! We will begin our practice with gentle movement, and long and deep stretches. The goal? To allow the body to relax, settle, and soften. We will seamlessly move into Yoga Nidra, or “yogic sleep.” Picture a candle-lit room, soothing instrumental music, and a guided meditation. It’s an incredible practice of stillness, rest, and rejuvenation where you’re in a state somewhere between being awake and being asleep. With a clearer mind and a more open heart, we will end our time together with some journaling and an exercise in self-discovery. We''ll explore what grounds you, what gives you direction, and what makes you feel free. Let’s uncover truer versions of ourselves, together. More nourishing and purposeful lives await. All participants will take home a goodie bag full of self-care items, so the love and care we have for ourselves can continue at home! |
